Mohamed Al-Shaaly (L) decides to extend their deal

Male', MALDIVES -
VB sports shirt sponsor Dubai’s Gulfcraft has extended their deal to another two years. The club that won recently ended FA cup also confirmed that the new deal is a better one in terms of money when compared to their previous agreement.

“I don’t want to say exactly this is the amount, but the new deal is better than the one we got last year, which gave us US$60,000” club CEO Gahthaan said.

After the signing ceremony, Gulfcraft chairman Mohamed Al Shaaly was delighted and said the renewal of agreement made him very happy.

“I am very happy that we are again the main sponsor of VB sports, this makes me very happy” Shaaly said.

“This is not simply an aid to VB sports; overall this is a huge commitment to Maldivian football. I want to help (Maldives) in other ways as well”

Shaaly further added that he will try to organize a training camp for VB in Dubai and assured that he will do whatever it requires from his side.

VB sports was formed by retail business tycoon Shaveed, who owns the VB retail outlets through out the country and club official Shiyam said VB doesn’t want to promote their products through the club, instead they try to do things that are best for the club.

“VB sports has a totally different board (of members). This is totally different (from VB’s business) and we always want to do things that are best for the club, so the one with the best proposal will always win (the sponsorship deal)” Shiyam said.
